As an acknowledged leader in the industry, PEC prides itself in providing innovative and efficient precast systems.
In business since 1978, PEC’s vast industry experience allows our talented staff of engineers and technicians to be fluent in all aspects of the precast concrete industry. From helping set up and operate plants to communicating directly with the field, we can handle the most challenging structures.
Our team includes several licensed structural and professional engineers, and many industry veterans. Our group is well versed with both design and project management, as well as drafting and building modeling. The flexibility and experience of our team is what sets PEC apart.
At the inception of the project, two primary staff members are assigned. The Project Leader and the Project Engineer coordinate the job from beginning to end. This ensures that the unique requirements of the client are met consistently and entirely throughout the project.
Project Leader
The Project Leader is ultimately responsible for the execution of the project according to the needs of the client. They handle correspondence with the client and the external design team, and generate both erection drawings and connection details.
Project Engineer
The Project Engineer coordinates all engineering for the project including member design, lateral analysis, and connection design. They work in conjunction with the Project Leader to ensure that all design concepts are executed in the precast drawings and details.
Working closely with the primary staff, the supporting staff of Technicians and Supervisors produces required project documents and drawings with efficiency and accuracy.
CAD/BIM Technician
The drafting Technician generates drawings for production and assists in the completion of erection drawings and connection details. They are proficient with the drafting software such as AutoCAD and Tekla.
Checker/Drafting Supervisor
The Checker has extensive experience, which prepares them to oversee the drafting process from start to finish. Familiarity with design concepts, production processes, and erection methods qualifies them to review erection drawings, and aids them in checking drawings for production.
